Religion and Race in the Bay Area

Reverend Wright's now infamous sermons have opened an opportunity for dialogue on race and religion; Danville Congregational Church, part of Wright's denomination the United Church of Christ, worked to begin this "sacred conversation" on Sunday following services.  While Danville Congregational is overwhelmingly white, the congregation hopes to work with more multicultural groups in the Bay Area as their conversations grow.
