C. Cristina Mora
G. Cristina Mora is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley. Prof. Mora’s research focuses on racial and ethnic categorization, organizations, and culture, as well as on immigrant religion and the diffusion of Pentecostalism in Latin America. She is the author of De Muchos, Uno: The Institutionalization of Latino Panethnicity (forthcoming). An earlier incarnation her forthcoming book won the Distinguished Dissertation Award presented by the American Sociological Association. Her work has been published in Poetics, Latino Studies, and Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science.
