Ways to Give

RPGP draws on the exceptional resources of the University of California, Berkeley, to strengthen research and teaching in these areas, forge new international partnerships, and enrich public life by communicating those results.
Your gift to the Religion, Politics and Globalization Program will help educate students, enhance faculty research, and facilitate international exchange.  RPGP has identified the following opportunities for private support.  We also welcome gifts of all sizes to the RPGP general fund.
Major Events and Lecture Series
RPGP hosts numerous conferences and lecture series throughout the year.  Additional funding will allow broader cross-campus collaboration, facilitate greater international participation, and increase the impact of public events.
Post-doctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars
UC Berkeley thrives on exchange with visiting scholars and professionals who participate in symposia, give lectures, and teach courses.  In order to attract the most dynamic and eminent visiting fellows, artists, and scholars, we seek annual funding of up to $25,000.

Faculty Positions and Faculty Support
The best way to secure the future of studies in religion, politics and globalization at UC Berkeley is to hire and retain outstanding faculty.  Distinguished professorships, endowed chairs, and faculty research fellowships help to advance scholarship in a range of disciplines and professions.

Students Scholarships, Fellowships and Services
Giving opportunities begin at $5,000 to provide undergraduate scholarships for study on religion, politics and globalization, or conference travel grants or summer pre-dissertation grants for graduate students.  Dissertation research fellowships and graduate fellowship programs also benefit from grants.
