Sacred Music

As Saudi Arabia approached interfaith dialogue for the first time, the World Sacred Music festival in Fez, Morocco kicked off its 14th annual celebration of diverse cultures and faiths.  The president of the festival, Mohamed Kabbaj, remarked that "Religion is too important to leave to clerics alone," in reference to the deeper aims of the gathering. 

Finding the Muslim Brotherhood

Officially banned in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood is laying low ahead of the country's coming elections.  The government has led a crackdown in recent weeks, arresting nearly 1000 members of the Islamist party.
