Activities
As part of RPGP's mission to support programming at UC Berkeley on religion and politics, we regularly sponsor lecture series, conferences, working groups and research projects.
Each year, RPGP hosts 1-2 conferences on a subject related to religion and politics. This year, the topic of our fall conference will be "The Politics of Faith: Religion in America."
The Interfaith Action Initiative (IAI) is an undergraduate-led organization that serves as a network for students of diverse faith traditions at Cal, as well as a liaison between students of faith and the campus administration.
Since our founding in 2006, RPGP has organized a variety of lecture series, focused on topics as diverse as "U.S. Foreign Policy and Iran," "Religion and Nationalism," and "Religion in America."
RPGP sponsors graduate and faculty working groups on topics including religious minorities and the state, political Islam and Christian evangelicalism.
