About RPGP

Mission
The mission of the Religion, Politics and Globalization Program (RPGP) is to create an intellectual space where scholars from the humanities and social sciences can come together to share and deepen their understanding of the role of religion in world affairs.

By encouraging interdisciplinary cooperation, RPGP supports path-breaking research and innovative modeling for complicated phenomena such as the relationship between Islam and governance, the roots of religious violence, and the challenges of state failure and international intervention.

Activities
RPGP organizes lectures and conferences, supports faculty and student research, and serves as a hub for community members interested in understanding how the forces of religion, politics, and globalization interact in the modern world.
